'Growing happiness since 1987'

Blooming Hill Flowers started live as Shipherd Nurseries in 1987.  It is still family owned and operated by Suzette and Frans van Dorsser and a dedicated team of around 20 staff members.

The nursery specialises in roses and gerberas but occasionally diversifies to include new flowers in our repertoire. In the past we have grown Solidago, Orchids and Amaryllis.

We have a simple goal to consistently produce high quality product, drawing from our valuable growing skills acquired from years of experience and using the latest most effective and sustainable growing techniques.

The growing business evolves around many hours of manual work done by dedicated people to supply timeless natural beauty to consumers.

Our Vision

Producing quality fresh produce that last in the vase.
